Shameless Namedropping
Ok so contrary to popular belief (i.e. my paranoia etc) Jake and Justin are still alive. After having partied up at the Cage the Elephant gig, they headed to a house party with the band and drank a considerably dangerous amount. After some drinking games and frolicking, their phones ran out of battery, none of us could get hold of them, and we thought they were dead. Well…you know…it good to think the worst of things….they were in the middle of nowhere with a band who like partying hard…etc. Thankfully they were fine and woke up at Justin’s house the following morning (with hoards of missed calls etc) and we were all happy. It’s nice to see Cage getting lot of radio play and press at the mo, check them out on www.myspace.com/cagetheelephant if you haven’t already. Read more

Another Silly Week!
Once again we’ve pushed the boundaries of how many late nights our bodies can take, festivals are usually the yardstick by which excess is measured and this week past we’ve graffitid our names in piss over that yardstick with a silly amount of London based activities, none of which really to do with music, brilliant!
It’s hard to think chronologically when it’s all a bit of a mush of stuff, but I’ll start on Tuesday, since I can’t remember what happened on Monday. Read more

Lots and lots and lots!
Oh my we’ve been having fun! A cloud of pleasure has been hovering over the Minus IQ camp over the last week and a bit, raining joy-soaked droplets over our grinning schoolboy faces. No I’ve not overdosed on acid, am just a little flamboyant with words today. It’s been a cracking time!
Last Saturday saw another photo-shoot, this time with the magnificent Stewart Ruffles (www.rufflesphotography.com). An early morning start and a pretty quick day in fact!
We all piled into Olivier’s (label guy…keep up) Land Rover, which would be more suited to the set of Born Free than the streets of North London, it felt as if we were going on safari, although rather than spotting monkeys we were avoiding running over school-children…nice. Read more

Pressing On…
Wooargh we’re all really excited! Another week has past and another host of things have been going on, lots of meetings, gigs, parties, events. Soo much to talk about.
Basically the main focus of this week has been starting to work with our press officers/publicists/PR whatever you want to call them and their job is essentially to sort out…well…publicitiy in the print media, i.e. magazines/newspapers/etc. Our first meeting with them was at our usual haunt (London’s Proud Galleries) where Sam Sparro was playing, it was ABSOLUTLEY rammed but much to our amazement we all swarmed in amongst Mark Ronson’s entourage..I approached him later on and much to my surprise he remembered me from Coachella, God knows how. well…he said he did…which was nice.
